The UAE has launched ‘The UAE stands with Lebanon‘ campaign to support those affected by the conflict in Lebanon. If you’re looking to contribute, here are three ways you can make a difference:
1. Volunteer for Packing Relief Supplies
Emirates Red Crescent (ERC) is calling for volunteers to help prepare food parcels:
- Dubai: Saturday, October 12, 2024, 9:00 am to 1:00 pm at Dubai Exhibition Center, Expo City Dubai
- Abu Dhabi: Sunday, October 13, 2024, 9:00 am to 1:00 pm at Abu Dhabi Cruise Terminal (Terminal 1)

2. Make In-Kind Donations
You can donate care packages with specific items. Remember, all items must have a validity period of at least one year.
Recommended Donation Packages:
- Food Baskets: Including dates, canned goods, oil, flour, tea, and more
- Children’s Baskets: Containing baby essentials like soap, diapers, milk powder, and blankets
- Women’s Baskets: Including hygiene products, towels, and blankets
