About JobXDubai News

JobXDubai News covers the practical side of living and working in the UAE: jobs, pay, visas, labour law, housing, transport and the rules that change your month.

JobXDubai News is a news and guides site for people who live and work in the UAE, or plan to. We have published UAE news and explainers since 2023, about 3,400 articles so far.

What we cover

We write about the things that change your working life and your monthly budget:

  • Jobs and hiring: which employers are recruiting, what they ask for and how to apply.
  • Salaries and costs: pay, end of service benefits, fuel prices, school fees and household budgets.
  • Visas and residency: golden visas, work permits, family sponsorship and the paperwork behind them.
  • Labour law: contracts, notice periods, dismissal, leave and what to do when an employer gets it wrong.
  • Property: renting, buying and the off-plan market.
  • Transport and daily life: Etihad Rail, Salik, public holidays, events and new rules from each emirate.

Who it is for

Our readers are mostly working professionals in the UAE: people looking for a job, people thinking about changing one, and people who want to know what a new rule means for them before it starts. We write in plain English, explain the numbers and say who a change affects.

Who runs it

JobXDubai News is edited by Vadim Kouznetsov, founder and CEO of JobXDubai, based in Dubai.

Vadim spent seven years in finance in London, first at Bloomberg LP (2008 to 2009) and then as a portfolio manager at the hedge fund Phillimore Capital (2010 to 2016). He later built and sold two companies: Setai Television in Munich, where he was CEO, and InHype, Europe's first livestream shopping platform for collectors, which he co-founded and ran as CEO, growing it to EUR 150,000 in monthly revenue before it was sold. After moving to Dubai he saw talented people send hundreds of applications without a single reply, and in October 2023 he started JobXDubai.com, an AI job platform for the UAE. He also runs uae-labour-law.com, which explains workers' rights, and cv-review.com.

How we work

Vadim chooses the stories and approves every one before it goes live. Facts are checked against official sources or reputable outlets, and we say where they came from. When rules change, we update the story and show the date. Our editorial policy explains the details, and our corrections page explains how to tell us about a mistake.
