Corrections
We try hard to get every fact right, but mistakes happen, and UAE rules change quickly. If you find something on JobXDubai News that is wrong or out of date, we want to hear about it.
How to report an error
Email [email protected] with:
- the link (URL) of the article;
- the sentence or figure you think is wrong;
- what you believe is correct, and a source if you have one, such as a government portal, an official announcement or a document.
A source is not required, but it helps us check your report faster. You do not need to give your full name, and we will not publish your email address.
What happens next
- We check. The editor reads your report and checks the claim against the original source.
- We fix it. If the story is wrong, we correct the text.
- We say so. For factual errors, we add a dated correction note at the end of the story explaining what was changed, for example: "Correction, 3 October 2026: An earlier version of this story gave the wrong fee for a two-year visa. It has been corrected."
- We reply. We let you know what we found and whether the story was changed.
Small fixes that do not change the meaning, such as a typo or a broken link, are corrected without a note.
When a story becomes out of date because a rule or price has changed, rather than because we got it wrong, we update it and show a new "Updated" date at the top. You can read more about this in our editorial policy.
How long it takes
We aim to reply to every correction request within 2 working days. If a check takes longer, for example because we are waiting for an authority to confirm a figure, we will tell you.
If we disagree
Sometimes we check a report and find the story is accurate. In that case we will explain why and point you to the source we used. If you still think we are wrong, reply with more detail and we will look again.
