Five lucky winners take home premium prizes in Dubai Duty Free’s latest draws, with two becoming instant millionaires
Dubai, UAE – 19 March 2025 – The latest Dubai Duty Free Millennium Millionaire and Finest Surprise draw has created two new dollar millionaires, with an American national and an Emirati each winning the coveted $1 million prize.
Two New Millionaires Crowned
Tanaz C, an American national residing in Houston, Texas, became a dollar millionaire after winning in the Millennium Millionaire Series 493. Her winning ticket number 2912 was purchased on 24 February in Concourse A East at Dubai International Airport.
Tanaz is now the 14th American national to win the prestigious Millennium Millionaire promotion since its inception in 1999. Due to the time difference between Dubai and the United States, she was not available for immediate comment on her life-changing win.
Joining Tanaz in the millionaires’ club is Ali Al Jaberi, a 62-year-old Emirati national from Abu Dhabi. Al Jaberi won in Millennium Millionaire Series 494 with ticket number 3659, which he purchased online on 5 March.
A retired engineer and father of four, Al Jaberi has been consistently participating in Dubai Duty Free’s promotions for the past decade.
“I’m very happy, many thanks to Dubai Duty Free!” said Al Jaberi upon hearing the good news.
With this win, Al Jaberi becomes the 16th Emirati national to win $1 million in the Millennium Millionaire promotion.
Luxury Vehicles Also Up for Grabs
Following the Millennium Millionaire draw, the Finest Surprise draw was conducted, with three additional winners taking home premium vehicles.
Jamal Aziz Azmi, an Indian national based in Sharjah, won a Mercedes Benz S500 in Black Paint Metallic. His winning ticket number 0827 in the Finest Surprise Series 1913 was purchased on 9 March in Terminal 2 Departure.
A Tanzanian government employee, Swedi Athumani Kisokile, won a Land Rover Defender 110 V8 HSE P525 in Santorini Black. The 47-year-old father of four from Dar es Salaam purchased the winning ticket number 1253 in the Finest Surprise Series 1914.
Remarkably, this was only Kisokile’s second time participating in the promotion.
“I’m so happy. I can’t believe to have won this early with my only second ticket to your promotion, thank you so much Dubai Duty Free!” he exclaimed.
The final winner of the day was Abdul Qudoos, a Pakistani national living in Ajman. Qudoos won a BMW S 1000 XR M Package motorcycle in Light White with ticket number 0195 in the Finest Surprise Series 617. He had purchased his ticket on 28 February in the Terminal 2 Public Shop.
