Emirates has announced a significant expansion of its Australian services, adding a third non-stop flight between Dubai and Melbourne starting March 30, 2025. This strategic addition strengthens the airline’s presence in the Australian market while streamlining travel options for passengers.
New Service Details
The fresh route will operate using a modernised Boeing 777-300ER aircraft, featuring four distinct cabin classes:

- 8 First Class Suites
- 40 Business Class seats
- 24 Premium Economy seats
- 256 Economy Class seats
Route Restructuring
This expansion brings notable changes to Emirates’ current Melbourne operations:
- Two existing A380 services continue their daily non-stop Dubai-Melbourne routes
- The current Dubai-Singapore-Melbourne service will cease operations
- A new direct Dubai-Singapore service will commence with different flight numbers

Emirates’ commitment to the Australian market is reflected in its extensive network coverage:
- 77 weekly services across five Australian cities
- Recently reinstated second Perth service with 12,000 weekly seats
- Renewed Adelaide operations since October 28
