Dubai is setting new benchmarks in artificial intelligence education with the launch of its ambitious ‘One Million Prompters‘ training programme. The Dubai Centre for Artificial Intelligence (DCAI) has announced open registration for this revolutionary initiative, which aims to train one million people worldwide in AI prompt engineering.

Breaking New Ground in AI Education

The programme stands out as the first large-scale effort to democratise AI prompt engineering skills globally. Participants will gain practical knowledge in leveraging AI technology across various sectors, from technical applications to creative endeavours.

DCAI Director Saeed Al Falasi emphasises the programme’s significance: “This initiative creates opportunities for people from all backgrounds to advance AI implementation across technical, creative, and knowledge-based industries. Participants will develop skills essential for pioneering AI applications and driving innovation from Dubai outward.”

The training comprises four strategic modules:

Each participant receives an accredited certificate upon completing the modules, validating their expertise in AI prompt engineering.

Building on Previous Success

The initiative follows the successful Global Prompt Engineering Championship held in Dubai (May 2024), which attracted participants from nearly 100 countries. The competition showcased 30 finalists from 13 nations competing in coding, art, and literature categories.

The next championship is scheduled during Dubai AI Week in April 2025, offering graduates of the One Million Prompters programme an opportunity to demonstrate their newly acquired skills.
