Dubai’s commitment to world-class infrastructure takes a significant leap forward with a newly approved Dh3.7 billion internal roads plan. His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE, and Ruler of Dubai, has given the green light to this transformative project that will span 634 kilometres across the emirate.

The ambitious initiative encompasses 21 distinct projects across 12 key areas, targeting locations with urbanisation rates between 30% and 80%. This strategic expansion aims to enhance connectivity and support Dubai’s rapid urban development.

2025: Supporting Housing Initiatives

- Nad El Sheba 3 and Al Amardi: Development supporting 482 Mohammed bin Rashid Housing Establishment (MBRHE) units
- Hatta: Road construction serving 100 MBRHE housing units
2026: Major Arterial Developments

- Nadd Hessa and Al Awir 1: Construction of 92km internal roads
2027: Multi-District Enhancement
- Al Athbah, Mushrif, and Hatta: 45km road network development
- Warsan 3 Industrial Area: 14km road construction
2028: Extensive Network Expansion

- Wadi Al Amardi: 22km road construction
