Wizz Air Abu Dhabi has launched a limited-time promotion offering up to 20% discount on selected ticket fares starting today, April 1.

Promotion Details

• Booking period: April 1 until 1:59am local time on April 2
• Travel period: April 28 to June 15, 2025
• How to book: Through Wizz mobile app or website
• WIZZ Discount Club members: Early access from March 31

The promotion applies only to selected flights to and from Abu Dhabi International Airport and is not available for group bookings.

New Routes Announced

This discount announcement coincides with Wizz Air’s network expansion, adding two new European destinations:

Varna, Bulgaria

• First direct connection between UAE and Bulgaria
• Schedule: Three flights weekly (Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays)
• Known as the “Pearl of the Black Sea”
• Features golden sandy beaches, Roman baths, and historical sites

Bucharest Băneasa Airport, Romania

• Schedule: Four flights weekly (Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, Sundays)

“These routes provide travellers with greater choice, unbeatable value and more opportunities to explore both familiar and undiscovered destinations,” said Johan Eidhagen, Managing Director of Wizz Air Abu Dhabi.

Expanding Network

Dr Frank Quante, CEO of Fraport Twin Star Airport Management AD, commented on the Varna route: “We have been working for years to reconnect the Gulf Region… It is a big opportunity for the whole Black Sea Region in Bulgaria, both for its connectivity and tourism.”
