What is a UAE Medical Fitness Test?
Medical fitness testing is mandatory for expatriates seeking UAE residence visas. These health screenings play a vital role in public health protection and are required for both new visas and renewals.
Test Requirements
Basic Screening
- HIV testing
- Tuberculosis (TB) screening
- Age requirement: 18 years and above
Additional Tests for Specific Workers
Workers in these sectors need additional screening for syphilis and Hepatitis B:

Important Updates
