Baker Hughes has marked a significant expansion in the Middle East with the launch of its cutting-edge surface pressure control (SPC) manufacturing facility in Abu Dhabi. This 46,000 sqm centre represents a major advancement in local energy technology production.
Strategic Location Enhances Regional Operations
The facility, developed in partnership with Al Ghaith Energy, positions Abu Dhabi as a key manufacturing hub for wellhead and subsea tree equipment.

Lorenzo Simonelli, Chairman and CEO of Baker Hughes, highlighted the strategic importance: “Abu Dhabi’s position enables us to support customer operations globally while delivering energy with improved efficiency.”

- Surface trees for high-pressure environments
- Specialised valves
- Wellhead accessories
First product delivery is scheduled for late 2024.
