Ajman Traffic Fine Discount: 50% Reduction Available Until December 2024
Ajman Police has rolled out a significant traffic fine discount programme, offering motorists a 50 per cent reduction on penalties. The initiative runs from November 4 to December 15, 2024.
Discount Details:
- Discount rate: 50%
- Start date: November 4, 2024
- End date: December 15, 2024
- Eligible violations: Those committed before October 31, 2024
Important Exclusions:
The discount programme does not apply to aggravated fines.
New Smart Monitoring System
Ajman’s traffic safety infrastructure received a significant upgrade with:
- 26 electronic gates installed across the emirate
- Implementation date: October 1, 2024
- AI-powered monitoring capabilities
- Smart camera systems
Sheikh Major General Sultan bin Abdullah Al Nuaimi, Commander-in-Chief of Ajman Police, explained that this smart system targets specific violations:
- Mobile phone usage while driving
- Seat belt non-compliance
- Expired driving licences

- Mobile phone violations:
- Fine: Dh400
- Black points: 4
- Seat belt violations:
- Fine: Dh400
- Black points: 4
- Applies to all passengers
- Driver bears responsibility for all occupants
