VinFast, a leading Vietnamese electric vehicle manufacturer, has announced the establishment of its regional headquarters in Dubai. This significant move marks a major milestone in the company’s global expansion strategy and reinforces Dubai’s position as a prime business hub.

The Dubai International Chamber played a vital role in supporting VinFast’s market entry and operational setup in the region. The chamber arranged introductions and meetings with key stakeholders, including government entities, potential dealership partners, and distributors, significantly smoothing the company’s transition.

“Dubai is further cementing its position as a leading global business hub thanks to its favorable business environment and numerous competitive advantages for investors and entrepreneurs,” said Salem Al Shamsi, Vice President of Global Markets at Dubai Chambers.

VinFast’s CEO, Ta Xuan Hien, highlighted the importance of collaboration with the Dubai International Chamber and local partners in establishing the company’s position in the Middle East.

The Dubai International Chamber remains committed to attracting companies and investors from around the world, ensuring they can capitalize on the exciting opportunities available in the emirate and leverage Dubai as a launchpad to enter regional and global markets.

This development is expected to boost the electric vehicle market in the Middle East, aligning with the objectives of the Dubai Economic Agenda (D33) and the chamber’s strategic priorities.

By setting up its regional headquarters in Dubai, VinFast is poised to tap into the region’s vast market potential, driving growth and innovation in the electric vehicle sector.
