A recent inspection by the Abu Dhabi Agriculture and Food Safety Authority (Adafsa) has led to the shutdown of Desi Pak Punjab Restaurant in Abu Dhabi. The eatery was found to have violated food safety standards, with insects discovered in the food preparation area and poor general hygiene observed.
The Authority’s inspection also revealed poor ventilation in the restaurant, adding to the list of violations. This is not an isolated incident, as Desi Pak Punjab Restaurant has repeatedly failed to meet food safety regulations.
Consequently, Adafsa has ordered the restaurant to remain closed until all food safety problems are addressed, and all requirements are met. The public is urged to report any food safety concerns through the hotline 800555.
This shutdown serves as a reminder of the importance of maintaining high food safety standards in Abu Dhabi’s food industry. The Authority’s vigilant efforts ensure a safe dining experience for the public.
