Dubai Mall Expansion: 240 New Stores and $408m Investment

The world’s most visited destination, Dubai Mall, has unveiled a monumental expansion plan, totaling AED1.5bn ($408m) in investments.

The project will introduce 240 new luxury stores and food and beverage outlets, further solidifying Dubai Mall’s position as a global retail and leisure icon.

Emaar Properties, the mastermind behind the expansion, has already mobilized the contractor on-site. This massive project reflects Dubai’s ambitious vision to remain at the forefront of global innovation and culture.

In 2023, Dubai Mall achieved a new attendance record with 105 million visitors, a 19% increase from the previous year, coupled with exceptionally strong sales.
