A cafeteria in Abu Dhabi has been shut down by the Abu Dhabi Agriculture and Food Safety Authority (ADAFSA) due to high-risk violations, including the presence of insects in the food preparation area.

The Spot Karak Cafeteria was closed on Saturday after an inspection by the ADAFSA revealed multiple violations of Law No. 2 of 2008 regarding food safety in Abu Dhabi. The Authority stated that the practices at the cafeteria posed a risk to public health, leading to the decision to shut it down.

The announcement was made on the Food Safety Authority’s Instagram page, citing the high-risk violations as the reason for the closure. The ADAFSA takes food safety very seriously and will not hesitate to take action against establishments that compromise the health and well-being of consumers.
