Are you an Indian national holding a US green card or residence visa in the UK or European Union countries? You can now apply for a pre-approved visa-on-arrival to Dubai! This facility allows eligible travelers to enter the UAE as visitors for a period of 14 days, with the option to extend their stay for another 14 days.
Application Process:
To avail of this service, you need to apply online through the General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs (GDRFA) website https://smart.gdrfad.gov.ae. You will need to register your details, fill up the requirements, and pay the fees (Dh253). After approval, the visa will be sent to your email.
Requirements:
- A valid passport or travel document to enter the country
- Permanent residence card (green card) issued by the USA or a residence visa issued by the UK or European Union countries
- Personal photo (white background)
Terms and Conditions:
- The traveler should not have any restrictions that prevent them from entering the UAE
- The validity of the passport or travel document is no less than 6 months
- The visa or green card issued by competent US authorities, or the residence visa issued by the competent authorities in the UK or European Union countries, should have a validity period of no less than 6 months
Additional Information:
Emirates airline has also introduced a pre-approved visa-on-arrival facility for some Indian passport holders who book their travel with the airline. This 14-day single-entry visa enables customers to skip queues when arriving in Dubai.
