Dubai has announced its ambitious initiative to become a global gaming hub with the launch of the Dubai Gaming Visa, aimed at attracting talent and entrepreneurs in the e-gaming sector.

The Dubai Gaming Visa is part of the Dubai Program for Gaming 2033, aiming to position Dubai among the top 10 cities in the global gaming industry. This initiative is expected to significantly contribute to the growth of Dubai’s digital economy, with an estimated increase of $1 billion in GDP by 2033.

The Dubai Gaming Visa provides a platform for individuals to develop and enhance their skills in the e-gaming industry. By 2033, Dubai aims to create 30,000 new jobs in the e-gaming sector, demonstrating the strong support the industry enjoys within the emirate. The city has leveraged its capabilities and framework to attract leading professionals in the gaming industry.

Application Process

Applicants for the Dubai Gaming Visa can apply through the Dubai Culture website or the official website of the initiative. The application process requires the submission of necessary documents, such as educational qualifications, proof of community contributions, job roles, and copies of passports, residence permits, Emirates IDs, cultural biographies, CVs, and contact details.

The Dubai Gaming Visa is part of the multi-year cultural visa categories granted by Dubai Culture and the General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs (GDRFA-Dubai).
