For tourists who want to see colourful cities without going over budget, Dubai is a warm and affordable option. According to a new survey, Dubai is the sixth most affordable city on the globe for a single night’s adventure.

This study, which was carried out by the student travel group Rustic Pathways, examined the costs that are associated with a one-night vacation, including lodging, food, transportation, entertainment, alcoholic drinks, and tips. It said that an average person would spend $465 each night in Dubai.

Dubai positions itself as a more cost-effective option for quick city breaks, with rates as low as $557 per night, compared to $687 per night in New York City and Paris, two popular travel destinations. On the other hand, Berlin turned out to be the most affordable city, costing only $266 for a single night’s stay.

“Dubai seems like a desirable option for travellers hoping for a jam-packed itinerary,” Rustic Pathways CEO Shayne Fitz-Coy said. He emphasised the affordability of Dubai’s top tourist destinations, such as Marina Beach and The Dubai Fountain, which don’t need admission fees, making it more appealing to those on a tight budget.

The biggest outlay of funds for tourists in Dubai is to lodging, where a double room in a moderate hotel typically costs $340 a night on average. The study’s findings show that this rate is only second to New York. But the city makes up for it with incredibly affordable public transit alternatives, with daily rates starting at only $13.

In the face of rising international travel expenses, the research highlights Berlin, Madrid, and Barcelona as three European cities that are especially desirable for travellers who want to see famous places without having to pay a premium for them.

Shayne Fitz-Coy made a comment on how living expenses are rising everywhere and how this is leading people to look for more affordable travel choices. “A quick city break is a great option for people who want to see new places but have a limited budget,” he said, highlighting the continued popularity of city breaks among tourists from across the world.
