Abu Dhabi has taken a bold step by welcoming DRIFTx, the first-ever global event devoted to reinventing the future of mobility. This spectacular gathers more than 75 exhibitors and 80 of the world’s top mobility specialists under one roof to ignite discussions on intelligent, sustainable, and driverless transportation options. This event, which takes place on land, water, and in the air, is a hub for innovative ideas that might completely change urban mobility.

Abu Dhabi’s commitment to urban development is demonstrated by its collaborations with the Department of Municipalities and Transport (DMT), the Abu Dhabi Investment Office (ADIO), and several other important organisations. DRIFTx is more than simply a demonstration; it’s a forum for discussions about the challenges and achievements in integrating new transport technologies with current frameworks.

Mohamed Ali Al Shorafa and Hasan Ahmed Al Hosani highlighted the emirate’s activities and highlighted the critical role that public-private partnership and creative organisations play in shaping the mobility environment of the modern era. The strategic MOUs that have been signed, especially those involving Joby Aviation and a number of Abu Dhabi authorities, lay out the plans for air taxi services in the country and represent a major step towards the realisation of these ambitious future plans.

Abu Dhabi’s desire to be at the forefront of innovative travel solutions, including the exciting development of sea gliders, is further cemented by ADI’s relationships with pioneers in the field of archery, such as Archer Aviation and Regent.

The event also offers interactive experiences, including live demonstrations of every aspect of mobility, from driverless cars precisely navigating the grounds to drones conducting sophisticated aerial manoeuvres. Every display and demonstration at DRIFTx enlightens and fascinates at the same time, providing priceless glimpses into the transportation of the future.
