The Executive Council of Dubai’s Chairman, Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, has strategically assigned government personnel to develop a comprehensive and proactive plan that would increase Dubai’s ability to withstand erratic weather patterns.
With substantial assistance from Sheikhs Maktoum bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum and Mansoor bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the statement was made during talks with the leaders of Dubai’s government. Together, these efforts highlight Dubai’s resolve to improve its emergency preparedness, as seen by the city’s previous quick recovery efforts following severe weather events.
Sheikh Hamdan emphasised the need of taking lessons from these setbacks and stressed the need for Dubai’s crisis management strategy to be improved.
