The Arabian Travel Market (ATM) 2024 is poised to showcase over 100 of the globe’s most innovative travel technology entities. This prestigious event will grace the Dubai World Trade Centre (DWTC) from May 6th to 9th, reflecting a remarkable growth in the travel tech arena.
This year, the ‘Travel Tech’ section is witnessing an unprecedented expansion to become 56% larger than the previous edition, accommodating 33% more exhibitors. It’s a clear indication of the sector’s rising prominence and potential for revolutionizing the travel experience.
Sponsored by industry giant Sabre, the ATM Future Stage is set to feature more than a hundred proficient speakers from various corners of the travel and tourism world. This platform will explore the pivotal role of cutting-edge technology in steering advancements across diverse segments, including digital payments, professional development, accessibility, sustainable practices, and beyond.
According to Danielle Curtis, Exhibition Director ME of Arabian Travel Market, the ATM Future Stage aims to capture the growing momentum of innovation within the travel industry. This initiative highlights the event’s commitment to fostering discussions around technological advancements and their sustainable applications.
Furthermore, ATM 2024 will witness the exciting ATM Start-up Pitch Battle, in collaboration with Intelak, unveiling the third edition of this competition. It provides a stage for some of the region’s most forward-thinking startups to present disruptive solutions to a panel of experts, promising a glimpse into the future of travel innovation.
The timing of ATM 2024 couldn’t be more opportune, with the global travel technology market on a dramatic upswing. Projections by Allied Market Research suggest a leap to $21 billion by 2032, up from $9.4 billion in 2022, underscoring the accelerating pace of technological integration in travel.
Last year’s ATM attracted a record-breaking audience with over 40,000 travel trade professionals, including 30,000 visitors, alongside 2,100 exhibitors from more than 155 countries. It set the stage not only for networking and collaborations but also for a pivotal net-zero announcement, reinforcing the event’s legacy as a lighthouse for progress and sustainability in travel.
