In a striking display of growth, Etihad Airways announced a 46% increase in passenger numbers for February 2024, reaching over 1.4 million travelers. This surge is part of the airline’s ambitious expansion strategy, which also saw the load factor stabilizing at an impressive 89% during the same period.
Antonoaldo Neves, the CEO of Etihad Airways, shared insights into the airline’s remarkable year-on-year growth and its strategic fleet enhancement with the addition of three new 787-9s.
This move is in line with Etihad’s plans to broaden its network by launching new routes and increasing flight frequencies to key markets. Notably, the airline is set to introduce flights to Antalya, Türkiye, and Jaipur, India, marking significant steps in its growth journey.
