As part of its comprehensive worldwide growth plan, the International Free Zone Authority (IFZA) recently celebrated the inauguration of its newest office in Frankfurt, Germany. With this crucial step, the UAE and Germany hope to strengthen their economic connections and foster an atmosphere that encourages investment and growth on both sides.

German-UAE Commercial Cooperation: A New Phase Is Initiated

Prominent figures from the German business community, IFZA CEO Jochen Knecht, and Khalfan Al Matrooshi, Deputy Head of Mission at the UAE Embassy in Berlin, honoured the opening of IFZA’s Frankfurt office on February 29. The significance of the commercial and business ties between Germany and the United Arab Emirates was highlighted by this occasion.

Situated at the core of IFZA’s global expansion goals, the Frankfurt office is poised to represent German businesses eager to establish commercial ties with Dubai. IFZA’s strategic presence in Germany facilitates the provision of tailored support and fosters direct interactions with investors, business leaders, entrepreneurs, and IFZA Partners.

Promoting Investment and Economic Cooperation

The CEO of IFZA, Jochen Knecht, stressed the value of having a presence in Germany in order to foster deep connections. By utilising IFZA’s core business skills, this expansion is intended to strengthen economic cooperation and encourage investments into the United Arab Emirates.

IFZA seeks to close market gaps by providing investment information, facilitating business connections with possible partners, and supporting small and medium-sized firms in Germany that are considering establishing themselves in Dubai. The Frankfurt office will serve as a central point of contact for the German business community, emphasising Dubai’s unmatched commercial prospects and ease of doing business for German firms looking to expand into the UAE and beyond.

The UAE tops the MENA region in FDI inflows, highlighting its status as a top investment destination, according to the World Investment Report 2023. With the assistance of a global network including more than 1,500 approved partners and consultants, IFZA has already established a significant global presence in China, Spain, and Switzerland.

An International Strategy for Corporate Growth

In order to facilitate smooth business integration for its partners and licensees, IFZA’s multilingual team, which represents over 50 nationalities, further enhances its global approach. As part of its ongoing worldwide growth, IFZA intends to open new offices this year in Austria, the UK, India, Africa, and Latin America, further demonstrating its dedication to developing international business relationships.

The International Free Zone Authority (IFZA) of Dubai is leading the charge in developing strong investment and commercial routes between the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and the rest of the globe. A significant step forward in this direction has been the organization’s calculated entry into Germany.
