The esteemed Oil & Gas Middle East Awards 2024, a celebration of achievement in the energy sector, were recently held in Dubai. Leading industry players, including Aramco and ADNOC Group, were present at the event to honour ground-breaking accomplishments and innovations. Aramco and ADNOC emerged were major winners on the evening, with Aramco winning recognition for its environmental sustainability efforts and safety protocols in sour field operations. Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF) production in the Middle East was acknowledged by ADNOC Refining, which is a major step towards sustainability in the downstream industry.
The focus was on innovation, with prizes for technological advancements given to Nabors Industries for their SmartROS® technology and Khalifa University of Science and Technology & ADNOC for their vision-based flare analytics. With prizes for Young Energy Professional of the Year and Energy Woman of the Year, the event also highlighted the value of gender diversity and talent development.
