The Dubai International Boat Show (DIBS) 2024 is gearing up for an impressive event at the Dubai Harbour from February 28 to March 3, marking its 30th edition. Known as the Middle East’s premier marine and lifestyle event, DIBS 2024 promises an extravagant showcase featuring over 1,000 brands and more than 200 boats from the world’s leading shipyards such as Azimut, Sunseeker Gulf, Gulf Craft, and many others.
This year’s show is particularly special with 46 boat launches on the agenda, reinforcing DIBS’s role as a pivotal sales and networking platform for both prominent international manufacturers and local distributors. Among the highlights, IMG Boats is set to unveil three global launches, while Riviera Boats and Al Fajer will each introduce two new vessels, complemented by regional debuts from SF Yachts, Williams Tender, and Ferretti, to name a few.
The 2024 edition of DIBS not only celebrates three decades of maritime excellence but also serves as a vital platform for premiering global maritime innovations. With exhibitors from over 55 countries, including first-time participants from Austria, Finland, Sweden, and the Republic of Korea, the show is a testament to Dubai’s growing appeal as a global yachting hub.
The event will feature an impressive lineup of superyachts, with participation from nine members of the Superyacht Builders Association, highlighting the luxury yacht sector’s growth prospects. With the Middle East hosting a significant portion of the world’s superyacht fleet, and projections indicating a surge in the luxury yacht market, DIBS 2024 is poised to significantly impact regional and international yachting sales.
Adding to the event’s allure are 400 new companies and brands, including MTM Marine showcasing the Sea-Doo Jet Ski, Cigarette Racing Team’s new yacht launch, and Baglietto, a new member of the Superyacht Builders Association.
Moreover, DIBS 2024 will spotlight sustainability initiatives, notably the Dubai Reef project, aligning with Dubai’s environmental goals and promoting the maritime sector’s growth. The Boat Show Leisure Yachting Conference, preceding the event, will bring together industry leaders to discuss innovation, sustainability, and the future of maritime.
As the Dubai International Boat Show celebrates its 30th edition, it stands as a symbol of Dubai’s ambition to be a global leader in yachting and maritime innovation, fostering collaboration and showcasing the latest trends in the industry.
