If you’re a recent graduate with a keen interest in the media sector and you are seeking career opportunities in Dubai or anywhere else in the UAE, you’re in luck – the media landscape is buzzing with potential.

The New Media and Content Creation Graduate Programme, jointly presented by ITP Media Group (ITP) and NEOM, ushers in a wealth of media training and internship openings specifically designed for the rising Saudi talents. Transitioning into its third prosperous year, this program has laid a solid foundation for many budding professionals to secure their places in the competitive media sector.

Uniquely designed for recent Saudi graduates, the programme’s mission is two-fold: to hone imperative digital editorial and journalism skills and to pave a seamless path towards gainful employment.

The journey kickstarts with an intensive four-week training module planned for November. This is succeeded by a rewarding six-month paid internship at the ITP Media Saudi’s hub in Riyadh, aimed at a handpicked ensemble of 15 standout students.

During the internship, these students immerse themselves in the operations of distinguished global and regional media entities such as Time Out, Harper’s Bazaar, Cosmopolitan, Arabian Business, and Esquire. This proximity to professional setups significantly expands their portfolios.

What’s more, top performers during the internships may secure full-time employment, opening doors to a future that could span across ITP’s vast international network.

Under the guidance of top-tier international trainers and seasoned regional media connoisseurs, the programme is attuned to the demands of a rapidly shifting media spectrum. It encompasses a variety of topics – from the growth of new media and podcasting to effective digital communication tactics and, crucially, the principles that uphold journalistic ethics and compelling storytelling.

NEOM’s Wayne Borg, Managing Director of Media Industries, Entertainment, and Culture, affirmed the organization’s commitment to talent growth, aimed at fostering a solid media habitat. The partnership between NEOM and ITP has been extraordinarily productive so far, giving young Saudis the chance to embark on full-time journalism career paths.

Martin Chambers, Managing Director of ITP Media Group, envisions the programme as a transformative springboard that cultivates tomorrow’s pioneers in the media realm, interlinking them with evolving prospects.

Set to unfurl in Riyadh from November 12 to December 7, 2023, the New Media and Content Creation Graduate Programme beckons young Saudis to seize this unparalleled platform to ascend into the dynamic realm of media – a venture replete with promise for a distinguished career in Dubai and the wider UAE job market.
