A prominent Abu Dhabi-based holding corporation has made a significant announcement that could change the lives of job seekers across Dubai and the UAE. With the launch of its ambitious Emiratisation initiative, Ethmar International Holding (EIH) is inviting talented individuals to explore more than 700 career opportunities.
The ‘Ethmarati’ programme, which seeks to bolster the Emirati workforce, was recently introduced at the renowned Tawdheef x Zaheb 2023 event located at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre.
Ali Elgebely, the Group CEO of EIH, expressed that this programme aligns seamlessly with the UAE leadership’s vision for Emiratisation. It focuses on elevating the skillset of Emirati youth to drive their active participation in the private sector.
EIH is poised as a key player in shaping the socioeconomic landscape of Abu Dhabi and the wider UAE. The ‘Ethmarati’ programme isn’t just about job creation; it’s a comprehensive pathway for skill development and career advancement for Emirati youth.
Attendees of Tawdheef x Zaheb 2023 were among the first to hear about the exciting prospects that the programme promises. The aim is simple yet profound: equip local talent with the necessary skills and knowledge, enhancing their appeal in the job market, especially within the private sector.
The job opportunities span across EIH and its subsidiaries, enveloping a vast array of sectors including travel and tourism, technology, real estate, and more. With its involvement in nine industry sectors, EIH offers an expansive ecosystem where Emiratis can find careers that suit their passions and expertise.
According to Elgebely, the ‘Ethmarati’ programme fosters a learning environment where Emirati professionals can receive specialized training from industry experts, ensuring hands-on experience that will cement their success in their chosen fields.
In an effort to solidify these objectives, EIH has also signed a memorandum of understanding with Nafis, a council dedicated to fortifying the human development programme and encouraging Emiratis’ employment in the private sector.
This alliance is a testament to the shared commitment to empowering Emirati talent. As part of this collaboration, EIH aims to integrate Emirati professionals into at least 350 positions within its group in the coming two years.
The Tawdheef x Zaheb 2023 exhibition, which prides itself on fostering employment and entrepreneurship opportunities for Emiratis, serves as a perfect backdrop for such transformative announcements and collaborations.
For those on the job hunt, the prospects in Dubai and the UAE have never been more promising. With EIH’s ‘Ethmarati’ programme, the pathway to a fulfilling career is wide open.
