The tech icon, aged 73, was set to deliver insights on his work with Steve Jobs, and the evolving risks in technology, especially in relation to artificial intelligence and cryptocurrency.
CNN reported, drawing on information from a source linked to the forum, that Wozniak was hospitalized after an episode of fainting. Mexican outlets such as Televisa and El Universal have indicated that he suffered a stroke. Fortunately, Wozniak’s condition is currently “stable” as he receives care in a reputable private facility.
As the co-creator of Apple back in 1976, along with the late Steve Jobs who passed away in 2011, Wozniak’s contributions to the digital age are monumental. His anticipated discussion at the forum was highly anticipated, highlighting the significant impact he continues to have on discussions surrounding technological innovation and security.
