The world’s most visited destination, Dubai Mall, has unveiled a monumental expansion plan, totaling AED1.5bn ($408m) in investments.

The project will introduce 240 new luxury stores and food and beverage outlets, further solidifying Dubai Mall’s position as a global retail and leisure icon.

Emaar Properties, the mastermind behind the expansion, has already mobilized the contractor on-site. This massive project reflects Dubai’s ambitious vision to remain at the forefront of global innovation and culture.

Mohamed Alabbar, the brains behind the expansion, expressed gratitude to esteemed guests, loyal customers, partners, retailers, and government authorities for their unwavering support.

In 2023, Dubai Mall achieved a new attendance record with 105 million visitors, a 19% increase from the previous year, coupled with exceptionally strong sales. The momentum continues in 2024, with the Mall maintaining its position as a global retail and leisure icon, offering innovative experiences while maintaining high customer satisfaction ratings.
